Gastro-Guide consortium gathered in Italy in April 2022 to kick-off the new project
The project partners from Spain, Greece, Poland, Italy, Lithuania and Bulgaria gathered in Italy on 13th and 14th of April 2022 to lay the foundations of the first research and development activities under the Gastro-Guide project.
The project is aimed at developing a new professional profile of a coach who trains the people in disadvantaged rural areas in Europe on how to promote their own village and welcome visitors.
In addition to the management and coordination topics the partners focused on the first project result that will comprise of survey on the situation in the partner countries and state-of-the art report developed at consortium level. The findings and conclusions from this first research stage will be incorporated further in the development of the professional profile of the "Gastro-guide" who will be prepared to coach the enterprenuers and SMEs in the rural areas in promoting their natural and cultural heritage in order to improve their living conditions and bring benefit to the local communities.
